Unless I'm missing something, there isn't really any reason to choose one emergency vehicle over another, is there? So the challenge is just noticing when a type of vehicle that you need becomes available.
My first time playing I ended up doing so well that I wasn't sure it was ever going to end (it seemed like it was always giving me situations that were possible, though maybe I was just getting lucky; or is there an ending?) and I gave up, which is a thing I've noticed in the past as a possible issue with endless games (which is why I put a limit in one mode of my own game).
I felt like I had very little initiative, everything was 'select what's available' while watching timers. I like the idea, I think there is something here, player just needs more to think and decide on
It's a good idea, and I think it could be a full game. Currently, once you have the strategy down you can't really lose, but I'd like to see how that could change.
The concept is good, having to manage multiple timers. The radio chatter was a loud compared to other sounds but nothing you cant fix if you make a post-jam version. Were you planning to expand this game after the jam, because there seems like a lot of potential ways this could go?
I had a lot of Ideas on how to expand this and I'm sure I will make another Version at some Point after the Jam.
And yeah, need to tweek on the Sounds a bit... I had Friends complaining that they didn't understand what was said in the Voice Lines because they weren't loud enough, so that's why they are that loud now.
It's a great idea, really stressful. By the end I had one mission without having anything out, and ended up losing. It was fun great job.
Really cool and unique idea for the theme! It made me feel guilty leaving a crime unattended just to run down the clock XD
The sound and late-game management in the game are fun
