Truly excellent. This is absolutely a GMTK all-timer. The platforming handles wonderfully (love that ledge grab!), and the premise is clear and set up well. The subtle puzzle element and the ending payoff are all just chef’s kiss. Incredible work.
CINEMA. One of the best games in the entire jam. I love it. I am making a platformer as my first Steam game and I feel your movement mogged mine in just 4 days. Feelsbadman. But massive congrats to you guys. Music is great. SFX are simple and great. Game is short and sweet. Art style is minimal and focused and works so well! LOVE IT!
This game really winds me up HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
very simple yet polished platformer, ledge grabbing and the wall jumping were done well. overall its all put together very nicely. Great work! :)
Still too easy compared to speedrunning Celeste heh
If Celeste had a timer... !
I think this is one of my favorite game so far, really simple yet so effective, with a very precise and well rounded level design. I love the animations so much, they're so funny, expressive and have a really good feel. Everything is so polished overall, well done !
Close enough, welcome back Celeste
The snappy wall-clinging movement and expressive animations give this platformer fantastic game feel, and avoiding checkpoints with less time adds a clever risk-reward puzzle!
Really neat game! I had a lot of fun jumping around. Controls felt really nice, and animations were smooth. Great work!
Loved the fact that the game is instantly starting, it's refreshing compared to 10 blocks of text before starting haha
Really nice animations, a pretty reactive and cool game :)
That is really cute!
such a charming game :)
Damn this was genuinely one of the best if not the best game I played this jam. It's so incredibly polished! I love the clinging to the edges and then how you up that with the cracks. I love the slight puzzles around avoiding checkpoints with lower times and doubling back. This was great, no notes!
I found it really hard for some reason. Though It was fun to control.
The game feel of thsi is so perfect the controls are so snappy I loved it
You absolutely nailed the game feel for this platformer, the platforming controls are so good---they give me Celeste vibes! I also like how certain components of the game, like jumping over flags with small counts, makes you actually think about what you're doing too.
I would honestly say the only kind of critique I have is I just wish that there were more interactions that made you think other than the flag-avoiding. The countdown mechanic sort of does, but honestly, not much. And, I get the game is primarily platforming focused, but I think one or two more concepts similar to the flag-avoiding would really propel this game from a platformer that just feels good into a game so good you simply can't forget about it.
Overall, great work, also wanted to mention the overall polish for the game is wonderful too :)
Neatly incentivises you to adapt to new mechanics on the fly due to the timer and to quickly master movement. Also love the character design! Well done!
The mechanics of this game were SOOOO enjoyable, holy moly. I wonder how long it took to get the feel of the game right… Great job! I also really liked the last part with the reuse of the same level, was super satisfying, wish the game was longer and there were more levels.
I was looking forward to playing a good platformer this jam. Good job!
