A ticker counts down from 3 for all the trash you let hit the ground, just like the real planetary countdown of life edging towards our doom when we litter.

This artwork is so cool!
thanks roger!
The art is so awesome !!!
Nice little game, if you polish it could be a fantastic little experience. I suggest you hide the mouse in the gameplay scene and make the art for UI elements. Also adding audio would be great. If you want to make the gameplay more chaotic, now if you hit some trash with your side sometimes its shoots off to the sides and when they hit the ground off-screen you lose one life, but maybe making them bounce with the side walls could be fun.
Also, you can try my game if you want, it just takes 5 minutes ;)
In a sense, I find the lack of audio a bit disturbing. Other than that, this is a very small game, but to be expected for a game jam. I think the artwork was what you spent the most time on because it's amazing to look at. Reminds me of a old children's book like the original illustrations of Winne the Pooh (total complement there). I think some audio and some narrative could do this game just a bit better in all honesty...
Featured in today's livestream!!
thanks for streaming my game! Yeah, I used up all my time polishing the scans of my art, and coding it just so it would function. Definitely gonna it a lot of elbow grease in the audio and storytelling when I release a full version.
Impressive style, reminded me of old children books! Very cozy and warm, would love to see more complex gameplay!
thanks! I aim to release a bigger version, and since discovering the joy of rigidbodies in godot, adding complexity is gonna be fun
