Sorry to hear that, its set up to add players on any input from a new input device so it should have worked with controllers or keyboard and controller, was there a specific setup you used that didn't work?  (It also could be the game's window wasn't the one in focus if they didn't connect at all)

I joined as P1, and when they clicked the button to join as P2, nothing happened.

A really cool idea, not gonna lie I played with myself but I see it being fun little game to play with a friend! Fun take on a theme some music might need tuning down a bit! Really good job overall!

Thank you for playing!  Sorry about the music, I ran out of time at the end to figure out adding a volume slider 😅 but glad you enjoyed it even playing solo!

I actually played it by myself using both a keyboard and a controller. I'm guessing that this feels better when it's two people fighting for control instead of one person deciding when to switch by themselves.

I'm guessing you put in the "press a button to steal control" mechanic over it just automatically switching to counter strategies like throwing yourself off a ledge right as the countdown finishes, which is a neat bit of foresight.

I gotta admit though, the end-of-game fanfare full on jumpscared me, it's a lot louder than the rest of the game.

Honestly even with the manual switching my younger brother still finds a way to launch me off cliffs when I swap in...
