Very original, I liked the throwing the chairs to the fire. Fun and simple but the art was nice too. Good work

Developer

Thanks a lot! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed playing the game!!😅

I played the game and reached level 24, then died( Wonder what the ending is all about.

It has it's vibe and i enjoyed the core loop, but after level 10 the game gets repetitive and after level 17-ish it lags like crazy. Presumably because of these birds that have not unloaded after the attack. Difficulty felt fine, but only because i was able to abuse the strat of luring all of the flying cheese guys into the fire, and it feels kind of random, whether this move succeedes or not.
Edit: now that i checked, those were indeed squirrels, and not flying cheese balls. What a shame.

Overall, nice little game that needs some balance tweaking.

Bro didn't reach lvl 25 - skill issue.

Btw the game lagging after lvl 17, is kinda confusing me, but maybe on a slightly lower end pc frame drop caused the birds to stay loaded? Overall, I appreciate your feedback though

The age old conflict: bald guy with beard x evil squirrel pack. Very fun game.

I really liked the design and style of this game! The gameplay is very good and the visuals are spot on! btw when you have time play and rate my game Fever Knight!

Simple and powerful aesthetic - which is important when you go for a single scene game like this. You have a great eye for visuals and details. Love the way the tutorial-text was blended into the ground, and the way the "Night X" labels fill up the entire screen. It's a brave design choice but it fits so well here.

The gameplay was fun and different (and fit the theme really well!) but quickly got a little repetitive.

One of my favourites of the jam so far.

The birds functionally being missiles is very funny. This game is really enjoyable 👍.

This game was super unique! I enjoyed figuring out a strategy to stay warm and ward off enemies. Personally, I would have preferred it to get more difficult quicker, but that might just be me lol. Thanks for letting me play!

Feedback like this is what makes my day! XD, I'll be sure to checkout your game!

btw what was your strategy for multi-tasking, I'm more of the guns blazing type, so I was just throwing chairs around - both at enemies and to feed my fire lol

I like to approach games as I want to have the most health at every point, so I sort of did one chair at a time and then immediately run back to get warmth. I let the fire do the work lolol. I tend to be on the defense than offense when I can.

I wish I could control where I throw things using my mouse instead of where the player is looking at
otherwise, good game

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feeback bro :)! Did you beat level 24 and unlock the secret ending? I'd love to know,

also I intentionally made that a feature where u don't throw with mouse and left click, because it made the game feel too easy, and people would just speed run the heck outta it XD
