How does your game fit the theme?
The player is constantly racing against a countdown as their lantern burns out, shrinking their visibility over time. As the light fades, the castle becomes increasingly dangerous, making the countdown the core mechanic that drives both gameplay and tension.

Gameplay is a little unforgiving, but I definitely enjoyed having multiple tries to get further each time. Art style is supreme. Well done.

This game has such cute art, even the enemies! I feel like I finished the game without ever needing to worry about the shrinking light mechanic, or even notice it really, so you could definitely up the challenge quite a bit. I also found some frustration with the controls, since the angle you walk at when going diagonal isn't the same angle as the hallways, so you constantly have to change which direction you're walking to go in a straight line. Other than that, this was a fun little experience!

Thank you for playing! And feedback noted. The controls probably need to be algined to the grid
