Personal opinions regarding this game and recommendations for subsequent version iterations

As a loyal player from China, I have always loved this game and hold high expectations for its future development. After long-term in-depth gameplay experience, I have noticed several prominent and urgent issues that greatly affect the overall gaming experience.

By collecting and sorting out a large number of player discussions and feedback from mainstream Chinese game communities including Bilibili and Baidu Tieba, I am writing to deliver opinions and optimization suggestions that represent the views of most Chinese players. I sincerely hope the development team can take our community feedback into consideration and reference it in future version updates and iterative improvements.

First of all, I want to praise the game’s exquisite art style and high-quality CG cutscenes. They are absolutely outstanding among similar games, and we sincerely hope the development team can keep maintaining this excellent visual standard in future updates.

That said, the biggest flaw of the current game lies in its story design. As players, we totally understand and accept tragic or bad endings for plot depth and character growth. A brief, understated bad ending with a simple narrative wrap-up is completely acceptable. However, it is absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable to tie explicit adult CG scenes to bad endings.

I have currently completed Sayuri’s storyline. The multi-angle fixed-scene adult CGs for Sayuri are well-produced in terms of quality and presentation. Yet these high-quality character CGs can only be unlocked by triggering Asami’s bad ending, which is a major design flaw that most Chinese players find extremely unreasonable and unsatisfying.

What Chinese players truly hope for is actually very simple. We strongly expect a classic and generous harem storyline. It would be ideal if the protagonist can develop intimate and exclusive relationships with all female characters throughout the story. Though a full all-girl harem route may sound ambitious, it is exactly the core expectation of most loyal fans.

Most importantly, NTR content must be completely excluded from the main storyline. All female protagonists in the main plot should remain loyal and exclusive to the player character, with no romantic or intimate interactions with other male characters. This is the most critical bottom-line requirement for the majority of Chinese players.

We acknowledge that a small amount of NTR elements may be unavoidable in individual bad endings for plot diversity. If such content must exist in alternative endings, please keep it extremely subtle — conveyed only through brief text descriptions or a few simple illustrations, without detailed or in-depth intimate cutscenes. This balance can satisfy diverse plot settings while respecting the core gaming experience of mainstream players.

Additionally, I would like to apologize if there are any awkward or unnatural expressions in this feedback, as I am not very proficient in English and this text has been assisted by AI translation. While this game currently has mixed reviews in Chinese player communities, I want to clarify that I have no intention of criticizing the development team at all. All the opinions and suggestions mentioned above come from my sincere love for this game. I genuinely hope this excellent work can keep improving and become more polished in future updates.

Overall, this game has extremely outstanding visuals, character designs and production quality, which are why countless Chinese players are deeply attracted to it. We have great affection for this game and sincerely look forward to better storyline and route optimization in future updates. We hope the development team can listen to the voices of Chinese players, adopt our reasonable suggestions, and bring us a more comfortable and satisfying gaming experience.

Hello there!

It's cool to hear there's a whole other community out there that's passionate about this game. ❤️

However, there's a good chance your post will get locked because the creator has already stated many times that the game will not include NTR, and they're most likely tired of responding to comments about it.

A lot of people have also voiced that they don't want bad endings. The reality is that the creator, many of the paying Patrons, and some people here want choices to have meaningful consequences.

This discussion has been going on for over a year now, and the tug-of-war between keeping the game as a classic harem story and making it one with meaningful consequences hasn't really changed.

My personal recommendation would be to focus more on suggestions that expand the game, rather than asking for changes that remove things other players are looking forward to.

I have a thread here asking what people think the game needs most, and I'd genuinely love to hear what the Chinese community would like to see: /t/6593314/what-do-you-think-the-game-needs-most#post-16541571

Ok, I'm confused. I've been following the game's development for quite a while now, and yes, I saw that most people don't want bad endings or NTR. And yet, for some reason, the dev still made the bad endings AND is thinking about adding scenes (probably static images) to them. So even though the majority of players voted against it, we're still getting bad endings, which will probably contain NTR. It's really sad to realize that our opinions don't actually matter here and that the devs keep contradicting themselves.

So I think the post above is valid to a certain extent. About a year ago, when we had the bad endings poll, most people voted not to have them. RNG said that the bad endings would just be something for before the game was complete... and yet here we are. Personally, I'd rather focus on the story's development instead of wasting time on bad endings, but as the dev team has already shown, our opinions don't really matter—they'll just do what they want.

That's usually not a bad thing; it's their story, and they get to decide how to tell it. But they should stop making promises to the players if that's how they're going to operate. I used to love the game, but the story and development started going down a strange path where everything is constantly being contradicted. I still love the art, and the animations are stupendous, but the story and direction have been lacking for quite a while now.

Overall, I'm deeply disappointed to see that their word may as well have no weight.

My understanding, based on a previous discussion with a former Patreon member here /t/6586309/i-have-some-questions, is that this poll was heavily in favour of bad endings (over 75%): https://www.patreon.com/extra_life/posts/aprils-progress-155846947.

Most of the support seems to come from Patreon, and there have also been people here in favour of bad endings, though they seem to be the minority (or at least, not as vocal). Where was this poll from a year ago?

I don't think we'll get NTR scenes like others suggest. The backlash to the announcement of bad endings was enough to move the discussion from the comments into threads like these just to keep things under control. Actual NTR would almost certainly overwhelm any meaningful discussion here.

I can personally agree that I'd rather see more story development than bad endings. However, if we're going to push for that, I think we'd also need some backing from the Patreon side. If they're already in favour of bad endings, that may be difficult.

I'm not sure about the promises and contradictions though. Do you have any examples?

I still don't get why so many players would be against NTR if it is avoidable, if avoidable can be just avoided, if you don't like you can skip it, but why so against it being an option for other players that would like to see it ?
