Hello everyone! I'll start by saying this is a portfolio project, no payment, and no guarantees.

The project is a roguelike similar to Brotato. The idea isn't fully fleshed out, but some of the gameplay (about 10-15%) is implemented. The gameplay is based on in-battle progression, as well as global progression, which significantly simplifies the gameplay. Unlike Brotato, the game requires a certain level of global progression (plus some luck during the run). It's played using Godot and GDScript.

I'm looking for a Pixel Artist to partner with me who can create:

- A 32x32 main character + animations in 6 directions

- Weapons for the main character (2-3 weapons: pistol, machine gun, melee weapon; animations would be nice)

- Background images (1-2)

- Several monster sprites with simple animations (2-3)

- One boss sprite with simple animations

- Small static objects for the map, such as a barrel, bush, or tree

I'm a beginner game developer, but I have programming experience and a relevant education. I don't expect perfect sprites and animations from you; good and respectful communication, responsibility, and a good vibe are key.

hey! I have some experience as an artist, both 2D and 3D, i am interested in this project, one question: is the project going to last a long time or is it pretty short term, and could i add the pieces i would create for my portfolio?
