[Free Browser Game] Playtesters wanted for a 30–45 minute detective mystery

Hi everyone,

I am looking for 5–10 people to test Ghost Code, a free single-player interactive detective mystery.

A video game's master build has been sabotaged, its source code has left the studio network, and the technical director has disappeared. You must examine 14 evidence files, question four suspects, connect timelines and credentials, keep private notes, and submit a five-part final accusation.

Playtest details:

  • Free to play
  • Approximately 30–45 minutes
  • Playable in a desktop or mobile browser
  • English browser version
  • Downloadable English and Spanish offline versions
  • No installation or registration required to play
  • Character voices, ambient audio, optional hints, scoring, and achievements

I especially need honest feedback about clue fairness, difficulty, audio balance, mobile usability, completion time, and whether the experience remains engaging until the end.

After finishing, the game provides a short evaluation and a “Copy playtest report” button. You can paste that report into the project comments or reply here.

Please avoid revealing the culprit or final answers in public comments.

Play Ghost Code here: https://detective-league-studio.itch.io/ghost-code-public-playtest

This independent project uses AI-assisted text, code, graphics, and audio, with human direction, review, editing, and playtesting.

Honest criticism is welcome and more useful than encouragement. Thank you.

A quick glance at the game page and I think it looks interesting.

I would be willing to do some playtesting on that if you will test my game in return.
