▎ Still allocated. Still dangerous. The process didn’t die — it forked.

A few months of quiet isn’t abandonment. It’s heads-down in the runtime. The console boots, the loop turns, and the Heap finally pushes back. Here’s what landed.

0x01 // THE CONSOLE LOOP IS REAL — The “Throne Room, re-imagined as a Command Console” from the pitch runs now. A game is a series of cycles: a visitor at the door with an offer, The Wire streaming packets from the dark net (jobs, intel, threats), Operations against the Lattice, and End Cycle — where the world moves whether you were ready or not. Time only advances when you act. So does everything hunting you.

0x02 // HEAT IS A COUNTDOWN — Every move is noticed. Past the line a raid clock ticks, and at zero the Garbage Collectors come for your PID. Sit idle and upkeep bleeds you out anyway.

0x03 // THE NET REMEMBERS YOUR CRIMES — Breaching a crew’s turf makes an enemy. Standing with eight factions moves as you work; hostile crews send threats, tribute buys back goodwill. And choices echo — a sloppy op’s trace resurfaces as heat cycles later.

0x04 // RUN YOUR NODE — Infrastructure (daemons, upgrade POTATO → QUANTUM RIG), Black Market (exploits, intel), Factions.

0x05 // BREACHES: YOUR HANDS, OR THE MACHINE’S — Let an op resolve on your preparation (six graded outcomes), or jack in and write the ZIG-0 yourself to bend the result.

0x06 // THE ROAD TO sudo — At the center of the Lattice sits INIT — PID 1. A long climb to even earn the attempt, and a fight you won’t win on your first run at it.

STATUS: [PRE-ALPHA // ACTIVELY FORKING]
