I really enjoyed the way that game played (despite the AI art in that game) and I’m seeing a lot of it in this game, so in any case, good on you. The game plays great in my opinion and I hope you’ll be able to finish it.
Hi! Yes, I was indeed inspired by the game *FREECARDWARE*, but only to a small extent, specifically by the look of the space within the battle scene.
I’m also the sole artist on this project, and I’ve never used AI to generate images or textures (in fact, I generally disapprove of using AI to create visuals).
I actually spent a huge amount of time drawing everything, creating the 3D models, animating them, and ensuring a cohesive style.
Oh no, I wasn’t trying to suggest that you used AI, it was more of a comment on FREECARDWARE.
And yes, in the battle scenes is where I noticed most of the inspiration. Also maybe a little bit in the selection of the next stage.
But it’s all meant to be a plus in my eyes, definitely not any kind of a negative.
I definitely look forward to seeing this game progress. The art you created looks great and I’m definitely going to support the game more as time goes on.
