This is just a guess, but it almost looks like my submission for TriJam #379 may have inspired you a little. That aside, I really like your idea! It’s pretty similar to mine for the current jam, while still being something completely different, which I think is really cool.

It's a happy coincidence - I didn't participate in or play any games in #379, though trying Woz-Tac-Toe now I would have voted for it, it's a very fun game! I'm glad you liked the game, I had the same thoughts about your current entry, and also about Dead Weight, it seems a few of us did the idea of "review some short intro to someone/something and decide".
