Absolutely incredible what you've managed to create in 48 hours! Even with AI, this is impressive beyond my comprehension. Although the camera's a bit buggy, the base gameplay feels complete and fun! My only real complaint would be the ammo economy...

Developer

yea u can blame me for the economy part im responsible for the economy balancing..

I liked the physics and the way you implemented the small planet. The game looked visually pretty good too. I got to wave 15 before I ran out of ammo and had to resort to punching the enemies with the gun.

Developer

GOOD TRY hahaha, we wanted the game to feel speedrun-able, hence the need to prepare bullets before arena fights. We also thought it'll be funny to make the melee attack punch enemies w a gun, cant believe u actually managed to use it!

THANK YOU!!

The small planet and low gravity, combined with the graphics style remind of Outer Wilds. Got me hooked trying to get that last skill.

Developer

Glad you liked the feeling of the movement! Did you end up getting the crazy last skill?

Try get the 15000 gold costing skill, it's actually crazy, I felt like I was flash stepping.

I am not unemployed enough for that 😂

On the one hand, this is obviously really technically impressive, even with AI. Doing a 3D world with complex mechanics, clean UI, bosses, arenas, special abilities, decent balancing in 48 hours is an enormous feat.

On the other, this game is likely so incredibly abstracted from the developers, is it even worth calling it their game? Like good job, I guess? You prompted Claude enough to generate something for you.

It's not unfun by any means. It plays like a free mobile game. It just lacks humanity and personality.

Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to play!!

We were challenging ourselves to push an idea as far as possible, so yes i agree many aspects of the game (I'd probably say visuals haha) can be worked on. There was also a surprising amount we had to solve manually when AI couldn’t get us there (you'd be surprised how much problems AI caused instead of helped).. not yet AGI i guess?

We wanted to add multiplayer too! (yk, like those steam indie games like repo) But we clearly lacked time so a leaderboard it is! That said, the feedback about personality is totally fair. With such a short timeframe, we prioritized getting the mechanics and overall experience working, and there’s definitely more we would’ve loved to do on the character and personality side.

Appreciate you checking it out!

I would like to add on that our game is not abstracted from us whatsoever, we were inspired by Muck and Vampire Survivors (my personal favorite) to create a game where people can compete with eachother for the highest scores and waves (and maybe develop speedrun strats hehe).

Check out our video as well!!
