The original was made in late 2024 I think but everything has been redone, I don't think a single line of anything was kept between the two versions.
I hear you on scenes interrupting other tasks in a way that feels inelegant. I've been thinking about presenting some scenes as clickable notifications ("X wants to see you." -> confirm to trigger) but then there's the issue of the player not clicking said notification and the need to serve the event again later...

I remember playing this when you first put it out (for minijam?) and it's so much bigger than it was then.
All of the dates with Augustine are a bit distracting from me trying to optimize my lab though...
