It would be nice if there was some way to figure out controlls without going to the game page. I liked the art and the music tho.

Thanks for playing! I really coudnt find out how to put a tutorial

Was a little confused about the controls at first but figuired it out when I went to the game page. Maybe instead of taking the players ability to stand away it can be on a cool off period instead. SFX were great.

Funny thing, i tried making a cool off system but a million bugs showed up soo i just scrapped it after a day of trying

I think the concepts very good, since I do remember being very young and having to keep checking my room for monsters whilst still trying to get to sleep. The mechanics, however, seem confusing to me? I was able to beat the game easily by just sitting up for 9 nine seconds and then laying down and sitting up again to reset the timer. This is excluding the fact that you can sit up and lay down when looking at the clock which I assume is a bug.

Also, I think you've accidentally used more than just two colours. The text on the title screen seems to be antialiased which has added some grey pixels. Also some of the shades of black or white don't match, like the hat on the logo is a greyer white than the rest of the title, or the black of the quilt is darker than the background or the white on the character is lighter than the white of the bed. This isn't that big of a deal since it was unintentional but you should try to avoid it in the future

Hooray! I finally played your game. Time seems to move faster—or only really starts moving—when you look at the clock, right? I liked the concept: constantly checking the clock but trying not to get spooked by something in the dark. Good job.

Damn, I tried opening it from two files, but neither worked—I'm sorry.

Try placing the exe and pck files in the same folder or the desktop, they cant function without eachother, try explaining the situation to better to me soo i can give you some advice

Just want to say that if you get a warning that its a virus, it isnt idk why it says that

The game is interesting but it is a little lagging in polish. It is properly because the game is rushed. But with more time, you could make a good game.
The virus warning is maybe because you export it wrong.
I hope this video help you.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I actually kinda rushed the exporting without a tutorial soo i will not do that next time
