Reminds me of Devil May Cry, but 2D. The jumps were too strong and a bit hard to control. I couldn't get aerial combos to get to work because of the jump. Interesting concept and cool game.
Yeah that was my main inspo, the protag had a few more stuff from Nero specifically but I couldn't get it to work in time
