Artistic Statement / Use of Theme
And The World Kept Spinning is a microgame collection with an overarching warning about climate inaction. In it, you will do various tasks that seem harmless at first but are actually bringing harm to the environment. As the world gets more and more destroyed, you will soon see the consequences of your actions...

At the end of the game, you are given a choice to save the world, showcasing that no matter how bad the climate gets, there is always hope to save it.

Development Summary
We had to cut a lot of the microgames due to time constraints and them not fitting with the game's theme.

(optional) Further Development Plan
Some things we could add in the future are more microgames and an endless mode.

I think that the idea is good, and it was executed well. The games and music are good, but the art style is a bit inconsistent between (and sometimes within) the games, which can be distracting.
The ending, where after completing all the minigames you're congratulated for destroying the world is quite impactful, because even though you performed well at the minigames, what you were doing wasn't good. Many people, like myself, will think they'd somehow lost for a moment, because... we did.
Side note: Some people are confused about the log minigame. It seems to work by having you outlast the timer, and putting in a log resets the fire to full (or something similar). By putting in every log instantly, you've essentially just set it to full at the start, so you run out of fire. I don't really think this is an issue with the minigame, I think it's a pretty good way to have it work, I just think it should maybe be explained better (which is tough given the rapid-fire format)

Nice collection of minigames, well on topic, although the sweating one made me laugh. I also got stuck at 22 on the burning logs because maybe a log was missing? Altogether a fun little project.

I enjoyed planting the seed at the end most! Felt like a nice earned surprise. Thanks for making!

Really nice game with many mini-games. Unfortunately I got caught up filling the shopping cart with a track pad.

Cute commentary on the state of the world. Made me remember the bit Gorge Carlin did “The Planet is Fine”.

Though I couldn't progress past the last "fuel the fire" microgame due to a seeming insufficient amount of fuel being on screen, I had fun! Reminiscent of games like Wario Ware, you guys captured the formula very well, and utilize the three simple methods of control very well. I would have liked to see the end of the game to fully get a grasp of the narrative, as right now I don't quite see how some of the tasks could at all contribute to climate change. Overall good work.
