Hey, I'm Goblin, and I'm solo developing  a completely new kind of automation factory builder game.

Well, the amazing musics are made by two great guys. Even if you didn't try the game, at least check out the trailers for the music's sake.

Build a space factory. Mine, harvest, exploit. Manage logistics with railguns, ballistic payloads and gravity-bending haulers. Fight gravity with Focus, climb the tech tree. Expand and explore the solar system in this factory automation sim. Everything is a potential resource - even the Locals.

The Pioneer in Tau Ceti E has been awakened. The execution of Protocol looms above everything.

But this time, something feels wrong: the Locals have found something that shouldn't be here.

Find out what it is - but prepare for the Protocol. Start quietly. But as you grow, they will find you.

The unique mechanisms:

  1. No conveyor belts, inserters, splitters.. Resources are shot around as kinetic payloads
  2. Gravity affects everything
  3. Free form placement - no grids, and all machines can be moved around like ships
  4. Land on moons, harvest asteroid streams, explore
  5. Your heaviest machines may become gravity wells
  6. Physics can't be ignored
  7. No magic portals, beams and faster than light travel - ASEMA universe is dark and relentless

A few technical details of the project:

  • Modding support - everything in ASEMA is modular
  • Top-down on 2D plane but 3D visuals
  • High scalability and large production down the line
  • The tech tree is rather high
  • Demo is a few hours of content, EA will be .. A lot
  • Small restricted area in demo, but a full solar system in EA

I have been a gamer, systems nerd and a scifi nerd my entire life. I like critical thinking, scientific approach and I work as a 3D-artist and architect. I've always dipped my toes in game dev. As a kid, I made a game where you must poison an innocent guy standing in a large glass jar.
