Very creative use of the theme. I liked how there was puzzles for figuring out which door is the correct one. Though you can technically cheese the puzzles through trial and error, I did find myself still trying to solve each one. The only one I couldn't figure out for sure was the one with the footprints.
I also appreciated the use of voice acting since that's so rare for jam games and it really adds to the mood of the game. I also like how the narrator tied things together at the end, saying how sometimes choosing the wrong choices (doors) is okay as we learn from them. Nice way to tie in narrative and gameplay mechanics with that.
Nice job! Very interesting little game!
thanks! the one with the footprints you just had to follow each path of footprints , you'll notice only one goes from start to finish. but yeah i a lot of people appreciated the voice acting , but i def don't have a narrator voice and generative AI is not allowed in the jam so it could have def been better.
I really liked the creativity of the gameplay, as well as the voice acting and the overall atmosphere. However, I would have liked to be able to move a little faster, and sometimes have a few more hints.
I didn’t make it all the way to the end, but I think I wasn’t too far from finishing.
Great job on the creativity!
well it's certainly a challenging game, i could have made the respawn at the level where the player is currently in to make guessing easier ig. but thx for feedback
Interesting but simple game... Narrative was really cool how you expressed your thoughts on freedom of choice. I liked how I kept getting tricked, thinking a certain door was the obvious choice. Very simple gameplay but the theme was there.
thanks, your game was like the best one out here, so getting a good review from you is really nice. also i can't believe you submitted early, it feels like a 1 month long game
