I don't mind if my prototype was removed because the cover art was AI-generated, but I want to point out something. No one is writing games in binary anymore; we use layers of tools and abstractions to build things. A game engine is a tool, asset stores are tools, middleware is a tool, and AI is another tool.
I'm a solo developer and programming is my primary skill. I'm using AI to bridge gaps in areas where I don't have the same expertise. I'm planning to take Black Circle much further, and I won't misrepresent my work just to get a few extra clicks.
People are free to dislike AI, but dismissing someone's work simply because they used a tool doesn't make much sense.
