I played this when it was first posted in early development and was excited to see where it went. Unfortunately I'm getting the same mostly-grey render that a few others mentioned. It was super neat, when I played it before! The big lad's movement is suitably chonky, and it was a lot of fun burning everything. Would love to see a post-jam version with the display bug fixed, but understandable if that doesn't happen, too. (I'm on Windows, and attempted to play in Firefox and Chrome.)

Cool game, fun idea and cool execution, I did feel like the jitter from the low res camera made me a little nauseous
Animations were really great; the fire was fun; the sounds and music were really well done, and sense of progression was very enjoyable. The navigation was very challenging because it wasn't clear what could and couldn't be walked on. I almost thought the game was broken until I saw a comment mentioning to avoid the rocks at the start. The other downside was that the resolution was not strictly 64x64.
I appreciate the feedback .
Though some players figured out where to go right away and alot of terrain is destructible to clear a path, it is not as clear as it could be about the rocks and you can get a little lost if you try to explore too far on the edges of the map or before you unlock the fire.
We had some issues in the final run for windows vs web builds with the resolution but felt we should atleast submit something for the game. I'd love to get this right on the next one.
Thank you again for playing. Happy jamming.
The procedural animation is really impressive! I'd love to learn how to do something like this. Appreciate you adding a devlog showing some of the behind the scenes stuff.
I really liked the sense of power you get as you grow bigger and get new abilities, then being able to burn things and destroy the villagers was really fun.
Some of the effects seemed way too high-res for a lowrezjam entry but otherwise the visuals and audio are really good.
Once I realized I could burn it all… it was on. Genuinely laughed when people started calling me names. gg!
i got stuck a couple times and then i relized you can set stuff on fire... then all was good. also... really cool movement system on the player character. it's very unique. i have no idea where to even start with a system like that. great job!
You can hold SHIFT as you walk to wiggle backwards and out if you get stuck, but generally settings things on fire does the trick 😉🔥
I'm really glad you enjoyed the movement. His back-end and legs sometimes doesn't follow physics when you're the bigger sizes but we love the feel of it as you move around and tried to keep it as relative to the camera as possible.
Something must be broken. I see a mostly gray scene with some flickery bits:

Maybe related? There are two shader errors at startup:
ERROR: Shader
Kindling.framework.js.br:9 Hidden/CoreSRP/CoreCopy shader is not supported on this GPU (none of subshaders/fallbacks are suitable)
Kindling.framework.js.br:9 ERROR: Shader
Kindling.framework.js.br:9 Hidden/Universal/HDRDebugView shader is not supported on this GPU (none of subshaders/fallbacks are suitable)
This is Chrome on Linux with an Intel Alderlake_p (Gen12)
Thanks for the feedback. It is mainly built for web / Chrome on windows, with a web and a window build available. Even with those errors you should still be able to walk around and progress - the grey bits are rocks this is intentional. (Head straight up to the green area and near the sheepies)
Let me know if you still have issues . I'll investigate the Linux setup sepereatly.
Great game, I really like the way the music builds as you get bigger.
