No rule against generative AI

Unless it's an oversight, I won't be participating and would caution others about that too. Additionally, one of the linked frameworks PVSnesLib has AI-generated code.

Hi, we will probably not allow AI for the next jam, but this time it is ok.

For this jam we wanted to be as open as possible, that's why no theme.
Problem is also we can't sufficiently control if somebody used AI in some way or not - so we would have to bank on everyones honesty...

PVSnesLib is the most common library on programming SNES homebrews.
We can't just disallow its usage because a few new changes may have been done with the help of AI.

But obvious AI-slop will definitely receive bad ratings by the judges, as it is never able to compete with fully human coded homebrews.

Also the jam already started and we can't just change the rules during the jam, that would be weird.

Regarding pvsneslib, I've asked on the discord and it looks like if you use version 4.5.0 (the previous release from 28th December) it pre-dates AI assisted commits to the codebase.
