Enjoyable game!

For some reason it reminded me of some kind of arcade surfing game, since it was enjoyable to ride the wind upwards. Sometimes wind blew down and at the bottom there was a wind upwards. That felt like catching a wave. I would lean even more heavily into that kind of feeling.

interesting. how would you reccomend doing that? adding a chance for 2 wind columns to spawn together?

Yes, you could create spawn formations where the upper one pushes down and the lower one up. Having them close together on the x axis but not aligned. You could play around with different spawn formations for the wind.
