I really enjoyed this game, the art style is awesome, music fits well and the gameplay is fun. It would be super cool if your camera when spiraling off when you get knocked off your horse for immersion. Really Good Job! I would keep polishing this game for sure, I want to play it some more!
The game is quite janky in controls and perspective handling. But the way it is put together is quite interesting, I think this is one of those games that needs a very specific polish to make it click
Good game maybe more intuitive way to point the lance on the target.
Really great game! Ideal for the jam - short and to the point! Fits the theme and gives great vibes. A clean contender for the overall victory! Had most struggles with black knight for some reason.
nice work, runs super smooth, very realistic, i love the art style
It feels quite Terry Gilliam. I like it!
Visually, this is great, and the concept is really cool, it fits the theme perfectly. I did have some trouble understanding the gameplay mechanic itself, though. Even after doing the training, it wasn’t always clear to me what I was actually supposed to be hitting when facing an opponent. For most of the early matches, simply holding my stick out far enough seemed to knock everyone down.
I also think having a little more player input beyond moving the stick would make it feel more immersive. I felt more like I was watching a jousting match than actually participating in one. Having to click to strike, or some other mechanism, would make the game feel better.
Once I started getting knocked off by the red opponent, I also wasn’t sure what was causing it or what I could do differently to prevent it. Making that feedback a little clearer visually or mechanically would help a lot.
I think with some added depth and clearer feedback, this could be a real joy to play.
Nice game
I enjoyed it a lot! Graphics and presentation were spot on. I also use Python to synthesize sounds (well, Claude did). Your audio came out quite nice. Only critique I had was it was a bit easy. I'd love to see this with some added depth and difficulty.
Awesome game - very easy to understand and very fun to play!
