Vivarium Released

Hey,

I’ve just released Vivarium:

https://matthodges.itch.io/vivarium

Vivarium is a continuous artificial life sandbox based on the Lenia model - think of it as a smooth, continuous version of Conway's Game of Life. Every point on a grid looks at a ring of neighbours and grows or shrinks based on that state, emerging into lifelike gliders, swarms, and stable colonies entirely from local rules.

Draw directly onto the simulation to guide the ecosystem, browse a built-in library of 400+ reference "animals" decoded directly from Bert Wang-Chak Chan's original research archive, or just watch the organisms slowly mutate and evolve on their own.

Built in HTML5 (WebGPU).
