Themes
I didn't design the game with any of the optional themes in mind, but it could technically fit "Biological Restrictions" (because there's a limit to how fast your fingers can move to print) and "Gotta Go Fast" since the main goal is to print as fast as possible

Tooling
I used Godot and Aseprite, which are what I mainly use.

I *adore* this. From idea to execution, it's wonderful at every stage. Simple to pick up, difficult to master (at least, to do so quickly and accurately), and charming as can be. Never thought I'd call printing *charming*, but here we are. Well done.

Quite an absurd concept, in a fun way. Just the input scheme seems like it doubles the challenge! I can imagine this as a sort of programming puzzle game, the ones where you have to setup instructions that then execute to try and get you some specific output. I suppose that would be a game where you play as printer software almost? It was surprisingly fun working to become a more accurate faster printer. What an odd feeling.

It could be a nice feature if the head auto-advanced on the images that do not have any color mixing required. Or perhaps if the main action was advancing the printer head, and the player could set the active ink (or lack of), and the pixel that was being moved away would be colored by the set value? Just some thoughts that popped into my mind. Both of these complicate or possibly don't work for color mixing images I think.

Had fun. Cool toy of sorts. Keep up the great work!

So weird and silly! I love it.

Could you put the button mappings on the Itch page for reference? There’s so many of them.

Thank you!

Also adding button mappings to the Itch page was a good idea, it's done now :)
