You've done a great job with the audio and effects. I often say a simple mechanic polished is a better scope for a jam game than a game that has a ton of half-complete things and I think this proves it. The unlocked coils seem to make the game harder to play so I didn't quite see a reason why I'd want to use it. Maybe I score more or there's a higher difficulty bonus? Also switching from the large to smaller is a bit jarring, maybe a tween or something to give players a chance to recognize it? Either way, great work!

really well done for what it is. i got to 21.
i couldnt quite figure out why it jumped so many numbers at times, like sometimes it goes up by 2 i assume if you hit like on the light coloured section, and sometimes it went up by 5 or something.
There were two slight issues.
-the graphics were great, however it did get in the way specifically when the coil finished and shrank down, the filling happens faster than the sign goes away.
-if you miss late then it immediately starts the next round

tried it again made it to 30 this time
the pause when the coil shrinks back down definitely helped.
