I can't imagine I'm the target audience for this, but gave it a quick play through for the Jam review swap.  I love the retro operating system main menu at the start.  It reminded me of Last Call BBS by Zachtronics, which also has its own version of an operating system.

I couldn't play for long as I get RSI quite often, but got to the first boss that shoots the lasers.

In the feedback section you're asking what would make someone buy it on steam.  I'm wondering if you could package a number of smaller retro games like this together, all playable from the operating system.  Last Call BBS has eight small but well fleshed out games, and they all have achievements to unlock.

This is cool! Very stressful, which I’m sure is what you were going for. This is not my kind of game, but hopefully my feedback can still be helpful!

  • Really nice UI, and great level of polish on this!
  • The screen cracks were a nice touch, even if they pissed me off 😅
  • I’d recommend starting players off with the cursor being a bit more forgiving, since it felt like I was clicking bugs and they weren’t responsive. I’m sure it’s my fault, but it makes the game feel broken when I’m only a pixel or two off and it counts as a miss.
  • It would be nice to get back to the game quicker after each round. The whole loading/glitch transition is pretty slow.

The overall concept and UI are really cool, and they fit together very well. The game also feels quite polished.

I especially enjoyed the boss rush sections — they were exciting and intense. That said, my wrist was already complaining before Hard Mode. Maybe I'm just not much of an FPS player?

I can definitely see this working well on Steam. It's genuinely fun, but I think it could use some way to reduce the physical strain a little. As the bugs get faster and faster, you have to constantly track them and click very rapidly, which can become tiring after a while.

The Ui Is Really Cool! I really liked the idea of the game and the gameplay was really nice.

my only complaint was the constant clicking you have to do, as the number of enemies grow, id usually end up spam clicking everywhere. the power ups are great. maybe im just not used to moving my mouse around this fast, but maybe having the powerups be more frequent would be better (i.e having the power up options appear say every 3 waves rather that after every boss fight) or maybe having some kind of EXP system similar to vampire survivors style games.

I can totally see this game game on steam, and id also love to see it on mobile! maybe with a different ui theme to fit the device? Great Job!
