Composer/Sound Designer looking to collaborate with indie devs

Hey all — I'm a producer/composer with a background in music production (degree + I teach lessons on the side), and I'm looking to connect with indie developers who need original music or sound design for their games.

I've done professional commercial work for brands like Jeep, Pfizer, and Acura, so I'm used to writing to spec, hitting a specific mood or brief, and delivering polished, broadcast-ready results on a deadline.

My main lane is atmospheric, moody, immersive sound — I run a minimal/hypnotic techno project, so I'm comfortable building tension, tone, and atmosphere rather than just "filler" background music. That said, I'm not a one-genre producer — I've worked across styles (including a full reggaeton album), so if your game needs something more melodic, rhythmic, or genre-specific, I can adapt.

What I can offer:

  • Original score/soundtrack work, from ambient beds to more rhythmic/electronic pieces
  • Sound design elements if needed
  • Commercial-level polish and reliability — I know how to work from a brief and deliver on time
  • Comfortable iterating based on mood boards, references, or gameplay footage
  • Reliable communication and a real interest in collaborating, not just clocking a gig

I'm newer to the game-dev/indie scene specifically, so I'm especially open to smaller or early-stage projects where we can build something together and figure out the right fit — jam session, paid work, rev share, whatever makes sense for your project.

If you've got a game that needs a sonic identity, send me a message with what you're working on and what kind of sound you're picturing. I'd love to hear about it.

hey, i  am doing a game right now.  would need 1-2 minutes of music for cinematic scenes.  (more details on e-mail communication)

about music genre(s) what i would think could work: mariachi or mambo (some latin-american feel)  transitioning into / mixed with rough  rock band. (i might be able to show you some soundbytes). if you could make it work on electro that would be supercool. but this is all just approximate direction if you could work with this, contact me.

Hey thanks for reaching out, would love to hear more about your project. Most of the work I’ve done for commercials has been Latin music so I have a lot of professional experience in that genre. My email is andermakesmusic@gmail.com if you want we can plan a call so you can explain the project to me in more detail and I can show you examples of my work. Would love to collaborate.
