Secondly, thank you for including hope in your game. I go out of my way to support small creators who do positive work. So i instantly bought your sci-fi solo game. 

However, I have a special request. I suffer from a unusual brain disorder that makes the vast majority  of electronic screens painful. I cannot play video games for instance. It is a condition that i have had for over 40 yrs. (I'm turning 58 soon), So I print and play most of my games on my modified computer setup. But I simply cannot use this game for any length of time, unless I have a hard copy. Is it possible to get a pdf that I can print, please? Cheats sheets? etc...

Hi, Brightblad5!  Thanks for your kind words about the design ethos – glad those seem to be coming through!

The Rulebook and Rosters that come with the game should be printable like any other PDF, so I'm not sure what I would send you that would be different than what already comes with the game, but here's some details on what's in there that might help:

The rosters document is the "cheat sheets" document – it's got a bunch of the tables printable for easy reference and the character/ship sheets you can use. These will probably be the most-used documents, and they are intended to be printed out for play.

The core rulebook is of course larger, so a lot of people will just use it digitally because it's a bigger printing job, but it should still be printable, too. However, as an alternative, the game should have come with a one-page document that contains a link you can use to get the core gamebook as a print-on-demand from Lulu (a print-on-demand service).  You can have them print it for you and send it to you.  It comes as a spiral-bound digest sized book that lays nice and flat on the table, and is my personal preferred way to play.  It looks like this:

Oh wait, I see what you're asking.  You're asking about the adventures - the Duty Sector booklets, right?

Sorry, took me a bit.  I was focused on the rulebook.

So the problem with those is that they're hyperlinked into an interactive story, so those PDF's have interactive elements.  They're going to be difficult to use in a printed format.  To make them print-friendly, I'd have to go into them and redesign them with links to page numbers instead of text-based hyperlinks, which would take me a good long while. I don't have them readily available to do that.

That said, you should still be able to print them out and use them if you want. The hyperlinked choices tend to point towards a page with a similar title, and you should be able to grok at a glance if the page you're trying to get to is the correct one.  But it will be a bear to print with the black backgrounds and white text, and you might experience a few missteps if the page you choose doesn't line up with the linked page.

But your question has given me something to think about in terms of the accessibility of my game. It would probably be a good idea to go back and revisit those duty sector booklets and find a way to make them more print-friendly. But I'm sorry to say I don't have them available in a print-friendly format right now. (Although like I said, they're kinda printable if you squint and are willing to tweak things.)

The good news is that those duty sector booklets are not required to play. They're really just intended to be a way to ease people into playing the core game by giving guided examples. The intended way to play the game is to not use them at all once you're comfortable with the mechanics.  So you can skip over them and jump straight to the core gameplay without going through the duty sector booklets.
