Really cute take on the theme and enjoyed the art style!

Very nice looking game :) I kept softlocking myself, up to the point where R didn't help (if you use state machine maybe doll got locked in some state where she neither reacted to key turning nor arrows). I must say I only discovered arrows in a 4rd level (it was fourth one I think, the one with jumping right on platforms and the reverting and jumping left, just below... it is my fault though, you even wrote about that in game description). Pretty interesting twist on movement, original (in a good way I think, it was hard, but by design, so it's advantage). I liked it and had fun despite only going till near the end of fourth level :)

I see. Do you happen to know what were you doing that triggered the softlock? We were using a state machine, yes.

It was the 4th level, it occured for sure when I went to the right side of a level, changed direction, then went left (including jumping) and it kept locking when I was probably trying to change direction while doing something with my mouse with the key near the left wall (so I was stuck going left, tried either "charging" or jumping with the key and pressing arrow right to change direction from left to right). One  time I also hardlocked (rather than softlocked) while jumping and falling (no clue what input I might be doing exactly at that time but it's possible I was still clicking LMB or RMB on the key), in both cases (near the wall and falling) even pressing "R" to reload the level did not unblock, the respawned doll was still not responsive, only page reload to reload the game fixed it. From my point of view as a player this was not a big issue for a jam game, don't worry ;)

Great execution of the theme and wildcards, my only point of criticism is that it was a bit difficult to understand the controls and the frequent getting stuck in a level makes the gameplay feel a little cumbersome

Great concept! The animation was so cute! Getting the hang of the controls was a bit tricky at first

Interesting and original concept. Cool art style as well. It’s easy to get stuck in some objects. I wonder how controls would feel if you could jump and charge at the same time instead of it being separate.

That could work. We were trying to see how using one key would work. But maybe using two different keyboard buttons could work. Thank you for the feedback :3

Cute game! The art is strange but somehow works together, cool to see all these moving elements, it gives a very good toy box look! I found the controls to be hardest to manage, with the impossibility to stop the doll and the jump taking so long to happen, I wish there was a way to fast-spin the turn-key, or to allow the player to stop! The first two levels are a breeze, but the third one I couldn't get through at all!

I think there's a really solid concept here.  I found the controls fairly difficult to handle but I think if you could get the learning curve just right, there'd be potential for some mechanics that are easy to learn but benefit from mastery.

I love your interpretation of the theme with the key charging the doll. This was a pretty unique idea interaction idea too. I love playing jam games where people try stuff out that I haven't seen before. I did find it pretty tricky to get the hang of timing the jumps. The character is very cute so a sold check mark on that wildcard too!
