Did your team create most/all of the graphics yourselves?
Yes, I did everything by myself.

Did your team create most of/all the audio yourselves?
No, I used free sound assets from the internet.

How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
In this game, you are an operator of a dyson sphere. It is your job to maintain the newborn star assigned to you until it reaches the end of its lifetime. I incorporated the theme "UNSTABLE" in both the synopsis and the gameplay, where the star is unstable and you have to stabilize it by changing both pressure and gravity accordingly to the target to maintain stability.

For a first game, this is an excellent result. I’ve seen first games that were much more difficult, especially the first game at the jam — that’s tough. But I’ll still highlight the issues and what will help make the game better in the future:

1. Music — the game needs music, any music without copyright issues; if you can’t make it yourself, download it from the internet.

2. Web build — you’d get more views and ratings if you had a web build.

3. It would be good to have the option to skip the text at the beginning when you’ve already seen it and just want to get into the game.

That’s all the main points. I wish you luck in game development, keep developing!

Thank you, I considered the web build too at the time of submitting but I ran into a monitor scaling problem so I dropped that idea for the jam. I will definitely add it in the updated version of the game. Same goes for music and the skip option, to be frank, that's a mistake on my part I forgot to add the skip button which was on my checklist. Anyways thank you for playing my game and telling me the issues. Have a great day.

Also, that is really sad there's so little votes and feedback, try reaching out in discord of this jam for more

Developer

Yeah, if it was really interesting many would have played it. So it not getting enough plays is because I could've done better. I will try to connect on discord like you suggested.

Hey, played your game! That's a nice first time admission. Good job on picking nice-looking simple style. I'd say game lacks some events happening in the background, maybe minigames of some sort (like in among us lol)  could fit nicely. Also it would be nice if controllers weren't simple bars but a drawn control panel for some immersion. Another thing, repeating beeps on changing parameters starts to kinda annoy from some point. Try randoming pitch next time, or adding more variety,  it might help.  And the last thing make your page and preview image more attractive, it is REALLY important to have more clicks and plays. Good job other than that!

I am really grateful for this brutally honest and elaborated feedback. I will try to implement these and make it more fun as much as I can. Will you be able to give a little time for playing the entry again when I am done with those things?
