How does your game fit the theme?
The game main idea is life count down of the patient. At first, we think of each patient has 20 second life, the player as a hamster doctor have to finish precise surgical action (press the correct arrow keys) to save the patient. But because of technical limitation, the game turn into 2 minutes count down, within the timezone, players can challenge themselves, how many patients they can save. Also, our former game idea will add punishment and reward for players action Punishment: (-2 second of life) when press the wrong button Reward: (3 second space bar replace all the arrow keys) All this little setting is just want the surgical action be more realistic and let the players feel time is clocking, time is counting down, and life is counting down.

Hey Vamm2211 and team! I just played through Chop Chop Surgery and I am completely in love with the paper cutout/cardboard aesthetic. The character design for the hamster doctor is brilliant, and combining that cute art style with a high-stakes, stressful surgical countdown creates an amazing contrast.

I saw in the comments that someone found that 4-button cheat bug, and I love that you are already looking at how to patch that and expand this into a full game. The visual style and rhythm-precision mechanics looks great for short-form video algorithms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts).

I run Parody Boat Media, an independent micro-publishing studio specializing in viral marketing, short-form editing, and community growth. I'd love to partner with your team to help you turn this prototype into a full, polished Steam launch, managing the Discord community and marketing for a future revenue share so you can focus 100% on programming and art.

Let me know if you have a Discord handle or a studio email I’d love to jump on a quick text chat and see what your team wants to build next!

I think this is a great concept. It’s really satisfying to press the keys quickly especially if you get like 4 right arrows or something in a row. Although I think there should be a punishment for pressing the wrong key because I discovered later you could press the 4 keys at once.

Oh, you're definitely a bug finder! Didn't aware that pressing all keys at a time can do the trick. Thanks for the advise!

Not my poor hamsters... though I make a pretty good doctor at twelve little lives saved.

I had no issues at all playing the game. All the inputs were read clearly, with what felt like a little forgiveness too.

I wish there was more game! To be completely honest with you, for 'countdown', I didn't even once look at the countdown because it wouldn't give me any meaningful information. I just put my head down and saved lives.

The paper cutout style endeared me a ton, and Brodie, you did absolutely fantastic on a larger than life score. There was a nice punch to each of the key presses that was well received, and I'd be really excited to see a game like this that ends the time, tells me I did a good job, lets me pick an upgrade, then throws me right back in. :)

Thanks for your thoughtful comment! I also hope I can complete the game in the future with my team! You will be a dedicated doctor btw!

Cute game! but sadly i only focused on teh arrows and completely ignore tehs erst of it the game could just have the arrows and i would see and play exact the same cause i need to look at the arrows you know? maybe in a tact or sth or i see my input making a difference in teh art or discplaying the arrows on teh art or sth. but it was fun!

That's a good point! May be add some animation to the step I guess! Glad you enjoy it!

fun game i like the little hamster doctor ^_^ the music was also very fun and fitting along with the cardboard art style. i do wish that there was a restart button after the 2 minutes are up so i didn't have to manually close and open the game each time!
