Background and game layer blend a bit, other than that this is a pretty basic platformer. Although heads up: you may disqualified due to the Planet Game Jam  requirin you to make the game take place on an OC planet that is important to the story or gameplay, and I don't think that this was mentioned anywhere in the game.

I like the platforming challanges though, they feel like the later levels to a classic mario game!
