The game lets me know I need to update it to a newer version but does NOT tell you how to at ALL

I blame Itch's store page UI being unintuitive. Try going to your Itch library here: /my-collections and checking downloads for The Choicer Voicer. Perhaps I can include said link in the game in a future update.
