Lovely art and sound, controls were a little touch but I enjoyed it. Well done!

I could not get it to work through the download or embed link unfortunately :(
The style is very cool though.
I don't think you have to reupload it to make it playable in browser. Try going to the edit project page, and under "Kind of Project" change it from downloadable to HTML.

I really like the music and the artstyle is really sweet, tho, after beating the rats i didn't know what to do

Thank you!! Yeah it's a little buggy. There's supposed to be a boss at the end but I'm unsure if it plays for everyone 😅. Spirit of the Jam, I suppose.

The artstyle and music are both very cute! I like the idea behind the game and with some refinement I think it could be really good. The enemy in the last stage did startle me lol, it was very quick. Good job!

Ayeee I'm so glad you liked it, thanks!!!

Here is the web link!!!: /embed-upload/19019555?color=333333

(You may have to zoom out your screen a bit :})

Your game has an interesting premise and good artwork. However, if you want people to play it in a browser via HTML, it would be a good idea to re-upload it to itch.io directly as an HTML build rather than a downloadable file. Unfortunately, after I collected three coins, the character glitched out and shot straight to the very top of the screen.

Thank you! It was my partner's first Jam and he joined with 60 hours left after my first partner quit, so it was quite the wild ride haha. I'll ask him how to do that, but for now I do just have the link which did work better for me: /embed-upload/19019555?color=333333

Thanks so much for checking out our game!!

Not playable. Also please don't spoil the ending in the description ;D  Now it works, a quick suggestion tho : it would be great if you could embed the game directly on your itch.io page with the proper scaling. It's not a huge deal for dedicated players, but it would make things easier! Overall, it was a nice, short game with a fun plot twist. Keep up the good work!

I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT WAS GOING TO BE SEEN PUBLICALLY OOPS LMAO. I'll fix it right now!!! Thank you so much for catching that!!!

Thanks for the edit!!: <3

fyi: you didnt check the “playable in browser” checkbox on itch how it just downloads the web files

Thank you so much for the tip! This is my first time submitting anything to itch. I can't seem to find the box however :(

Edit: I did eventually find the link however! /embed-upload/19019555?color=333333
