[Idle / Clicker] Looking for feedback on Idle Anglers (Playable in Browser)

Hi everyone!

I recently published a playable browser demo for my game, Idle Anglers. It's a cozy pixel-art idle clicker game where you catch fish, upgrade gear, and unlock progression loops.

You can play it directly in your browser here: https://juba13.itch.io/idle-anglers

I'm actively looking for constructive feedback to refine the game. Specifically, I'd love your thoughts on:

Pacing & Balance: How does the clicker progression feel? Is the unlock loop rewarding enough?

UI & UX: Is the interface intuitive, readable, and easy to navigate?

Bugs & Performance: Did you run into any glitches or save issues while playing in your browser?

Any feedback, criticism, or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks for giving it a try!

Hi, I tried the game but didn't test saving. I think I unlocked everything? The art is fine, with scenes laid out like a booklet. But there's no animation at all, and I can't inspect anything. Visually, it could use some work.

First of all, thank you so much for trying out the game. Actually, based on my own naming convention, I refer to the “Lake” and “Coastal” sections as “cards,” but we could also call them “sections.” The full version of the game will have 8 cards and 1 final card. After that, it will revert to the prestige system found in classic idle games. Currently, there are 2 playable cards. If you’ve completed all the upgrades, you’ve reached the end of the playable version. When you do that, a window should pop up indicating that you’ve reached the end of the demo.

Yes, none of the animations I’m currently working on are active in the game’s current version. To be honest, my plan is to finish the game by adding the animations after I’ve completed the algorithm and the core mechanics.

Thank you again for your feedback.

If possible, could you tell me how long it took you to complete the two cards?
