How does the game fit the theme?
You must talk to the locals in this town to see who is giving you clues and who is lying to you. Don't trust ANYONE blindly.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I reused/repurposed some previous game jam code for menu, player, and other basics. I also used a couple sounds from freesound.org such as the rain, footsteps, and car. And yes, I did draw the art in MS Paint

The Game is confused on a gameplay standpoint, but the atmosphere is beatiful!

Thanks for the compliment on the atmosphere! I put a lot of effort into it. Perhaps too much though, because I didn’t put enough attention on the actual gameplay. I had a concept but I didn’t spend enough time trying to flesh it out. I was hoping to use the journal like the Chants of Sennaar game

The gameplay is good , sticked to the theme

Developer

Thanks! My last jam I wasn’t as god about sticking to the theme so I focused on it more this time around. Unfortunately, I didn’t devote as much time as I wanted to building the intrigue as I wanted to, so I think the end user experience suffered a bit from that
