How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is “Trust No One".
Echo is a blind girl who goes back through memories of her mother, her best friend Josh, and herself. As the player discovers more about these memories, some of the things Echo believes about people, and even about herself, start to feel less certain.
The game is also about not blindly trusting your own memories or self-blame.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of the artwork was made by me.
I used music, sound effects, and some video assets from Pixabay.
I also used ChatGPT for help with some Godot programming, mainly the save system and parts of the screen mask/spotlight effect. I wrote and adapted the code for my project myself.
