How does the game fit the theme?
The upgrade system directly incorporates the theme through deception and risk. Between rounds, players are offered upgrade cards, including hidden "TRUST ME" choices that can either grant powerful buffs or punish the player with negative effects. Players cannot blindly trust the power-ups offered to survive.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All core code logic, GDScript systems, and pixel art assets were created during the jam using Godot 4. External assets used: "Pixel Rand.otf" font and royalty-free audio effects/music.

What a great soundtrack! Had fun playing this. It could be my slightly older macbook, but it did freeze a couple times for me

I also didn't realize there was a full screen button until I came to vote. Definitely scales up fast and you need to be quick on your feet, but very fun to play!

Fun game, Im missing a fullscreen button? Also a bit wider view light would be good, love the concept of a game with upgrades with just trust me... xD Amusing and repeatable. Great submission.
