How does the game fit the theme?
EXECUTIONER is built around one central question: Do you trust the voice in your ear?
You play a cybernetic assassin receiving real-time kill orders from an AI handler. Every mission forces a choice: obey and execute — or hesitate, spare the target, and accumulate Instability (max 3). The AI insists every target is a threat. The truth is more complicated.
"Trust No One" isn't just flavor — it's the mechanic that drives everything:
Trusting the AI blindly → clean missions, low Instability → Ending A (you remain a tool)
Doubting the AI → sparing targets raises Instability → unlocks Endings B where the full picture emerges
The late-game reveal: the entire operation was an obedience experiment run by the organization you thought you served. The "targets" were test subjects. Your handler was measuring your compliance.
The single map reused across three chapters mirrors this: same corridors, different layers of truth revealed through data anomalies. Second playthrough is literally designed to reward players who stopped trusting what they saw the first time.
trust as a quantified resource, betrayal as a progression gate, and the realization that the person you trusted least (yourself, following orders) was the real problem.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most of the game's code was rewritten by our team from scratch

Finally, the voting time, so here I am as promised! XD Loved the design for the protag and the music is nice, although I struggled with the camera a bit, some objects miss colliders and had a very funny bug where for some reason my character kept playing the dying animation along with the target you choose to kill lol

They breakdance together xD

Congrats on publishing your first game jam project! ☆

Wow, this game's aesthetics are through the roof. It's as if the world around me is dangerous mainly due to the night skies and the shadows around most of the areas. The camera controls appear to be inverted from the Yaw, but I'm able to get used it so it's all good there.

I interacted with one lady NPC and I wasn't able to see the entire dialogue so I tried re-interacting with her but it only goes back to "take him away".

Some objects aren't solid and I'm able to clip through them. Don't know if that's intended or a bug that couldn't be patched in time but either way, don't sweat over it.

The music is epic as well, as I believe it's one of those sci-fi music.

Another thing I noticed was the objects clipping the player sometimes whenever I move the camera around. I couldn't even see the player sometimes. It looks like this project was going for the home run, create a 3D scene with a bunch of buildings and broken establishments, futuristic-looking characters (if I'm right) and different types shaders such as the color glitch effect and the pink effect.

I was able to finish the game; however, it's so unfortunate that I got the bad ending since I know I killed everyone that attacked me 😂.
