How did you incorporate the theme?
The mc has "Inversal powers" to change his weak body into a strong one. He uses it for offence as well as defence.
If you did one or more of the challenges, which did you do?
I spent extra effort on sprites, sound and made extra use of shaders.
Most problems came from the time restraint.

Art is great, and I like the concept. Stamina felt weird being connected to blocking. Generally seems like the best strategy is to spam attack and then block when you see an attack coming and ignore the super and buffing. A little work on the strategy and timing so there's a bit more variation to gameplay would be good. great job!
This is a pretty fun timing game! I played through most of the levels. I’m not sure if I was doing something wrong, but Roberto felt out of place as level 2. The boss seemed to require perfect timing, as one hit would stunlock me until he knocked me out.
The graphics were very nice. The pixel art was clean and legibile, and the UI looked good. I also noticed a lot of game juice, such as menu clicks and UI shaking on impact. Little things like that add a lot of polish to game jam games.
The game design was simple, which is fine for a game jam. If I were to think about a longer game, I would focus on player skill expression. The skill floor was low enough that I think most people who aren’t averse to rhythm games will pick up quickly. The skill ceiling is not much higher than the floor, which means once you’ve figured out the mechanics, there’s not much room to differentiate a skilled player vs a non-skilled player. It would make replayability less viable without adding more expression.
Overall, a great game for a game jam. Thanks so much for making this!
