Which Theme did you choose?

Time Travel

How did you implement your chosen Theme in your game?
The player uses time travel to set things right after a werewolf attack.

Did you implement any of your Theme's Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Yes. All three. You travel back in time in a single location that starts full of corpses. You can use temporal powers to restart the night. Your actions determine who survives the night

Does your game contain AI-generated assets?

No

This game rocks. The music is a lot of fun. Timetravel-werewolf antics and you save your friends by giving them exactly what they need in life: footballs and necklaces. It's very short and it's very simple and I enjoyed playing it. Thank you for making this.

Wulfklok

As someone who looks closely at how indie horror builds mood and tension within tight jam scopes, I spent some time with Wulfklok. Here is my breakdown across the categories.

Theme — 4.0 / 5

  • Alignment: It engages with the jam's framework directly through its isolation and atmospheric pressure. The environmental framing keeps the focus tight on the core conceit from start to finish.

Gameplay — 3.5 / 5

  • Mechanics & Loop: The interaction loop is clean and functions reliably without breaking immersion, keeping mechanical friction low.
  • Pacing & Depth: It serves the atmosphere well, though the mechanical repertoire is fairly focused and straightforward. It doesn't reinvent its interactions, but it uses what it has efficiently for the runtime.

Story — 3.5 / 5

  • Narrative Delivery: The story is communicated effectively through pacing, environmental cues, and mood rather than heavy exposition.
  • Impact: It establishes a compelling sense of unease and mystery, leaving a distinct impression through implication.

Presentation — 4.0 / 5

  • Audio-Visual Design: This is where the game stands out. The aesthetic creates a unified, moody tone that does the heavy lifting for maintaining tension.

Creativity — 3.5 / 5

  • Execution: It executes its setup cleanly and commits fully to its chosen aesthetic and tone, giving it a distinct identity within the jam space.

Horror — 3.0 / 5

  • Atmosphere & Dread: The game excels most in its mood. By capitalizing on isolation and psychological anticipation, it generates genuine unease, understanding that atmosphere is more effective than cheap tricks.

Overall — 3.5 / 5

  • Summary: Wulfklok is a tightly focused, highly atmospheric horror jam entry. It delivers a cohesive, well-crafted experience that knows how to use its presentation to carry the player through.
