[Art][Programmer] Seeking collaborators on Social Simulation Project

Hey Howdy Hey!

I'm looking for artists and programmers interested in helping produce a game I've had rolling around in my head for a about a decade now. Because of the nature of this idea, I've found it necessary to adopt this stage name while other professional ventures I am partaking in wrap up. I have a few years of experience with game development from a design/directorial position, as well as about a decade of experience working in the independent film and television industry.

THE GAME: In short, the idea is a social simulation game akin to Animal Crossing and The Sims franchises, but with a heaping dose of adult themes. The current plans for the visuals and mechanics are fairly simple, so please do not be deterred by the scope of the references provided. I am on the fence about making the game a full-fledged "adult" game (hence my statement about the game's nature above), but there will be strong themes that I feel might be stifled by stronger censorship. That being said, the intention is for this game to go to market... So I understand if the adult themes need to stay in a 'frosted-glass' box, so to speak. I do not have a set engine in mind, nor do I have a cemented platform for release, so that will be something the team can decide on, together. The current intention is to use Discord for the bulk of our communication while developing the game, but I am open to other options depending on the team's thoughts.

THE PAY: My current intention for this project is RevShare, but I am willing to commission/contract as needed to make this idea come to fruition. That being said, if you're interested, please include your hourly  rates or if you're open to working on this with me as a passion project in your response.

If you're interested, please email me at: clergence.wilds@gmail.com or give me a way to reach out to you directly in the comments below. More information, including a full GDD for the project, will be provided once you've been accepted into the team. However, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them in your email and I'll do my best to answer them so that you can better make a decision!

I'm a beginner in the game development field and would like to work with you and learn. I'm also a translator and writer; perhaps I can help you with writing character dialogues or a story. My Discord account is (dew_star_x).

Hi! I’m interested in working on the art for your game. I’m a 3D character artist and would love to contribute to the project.

I’d prefer to work with you on a paid basis rather than RevShare. I’d be happy to discuss my rates and the project details.

Thanks!
