The art was cohesive and unique. I did pick up some items but didn't know what to do, only after I read the comment did I learn about fixing the car.
Well made!
Man, this game was scary! And in a good scary way!
Originally I thought this would be another TD game where you find peas, plant them strategically to deter the zombie but then I realized there's lot more going on... finding peas, car parts, day-night-cycle ... som much packed into such small space.
Glad that you did not include much instructions otherwise the game would've lost it's charm.
The nostalgic feeling is from the LCD-like graphic and literal interpretation of the theme.
TBH I was not able to find all the car parts but the game is great and plays exceptionally well. I also noticed how fast you designed and programmed it!
Loved it!
Thank you very much!
Definitely matched that retro feel in terms of art and music!
I couldn't figure out what to do with the gas can and other items that I found after looking through what seemed the whole map and interacting with every object.
You'll find car parts and one car with lights still on. When you've found all parts you'd be able to repair that car and escape and win the game.
Unfortunately after spending quite a while looking around I wasn't able to find what I assume to be the last missing part.
The size of the map makes it quite hard to properly look through the entirety of it along with the walk speed.
Along with the day and night cycle locking you out for a moment preventing you from properly looking around. Another thing was that most of the paths there are seem to lead the player to a seemingly random location or a dead end except for a few.
There is no information. I don't know where I should go or what do the items do. Art is good.
That's the idea of the game. Feel lost and try to escape the zombies which will be more the longer you play it. i transmit the feeling of being lost directly to you as a player. i transmit the wish to go home directly to you as a player.
