How does the game fit the theme?
You need to hitchhike to get home and you can't trust any driver. You talk with them and check their inventory and decide if they want to deceive you or not.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

The premise is there, must admit I got scared by the well placed kidnap sfx and the gloomy atmosphere kept me on my toes. NPCs are fine to interact with, though hitchhiking lacks force-panning the camera to the driver. Also, the main road and core loop as a whole feels... empty? Like, don't get me wrong, the mechanics of cycling pool of drivers is cool and all, as well as a random map, but most of the time you just hold W and pray for the best. I'd love to see you improve the game, I'd play the full game with similar premise if it was better designed and executed.
