What makes your game "meaningful"?
The graphisme, the want to share, and help to have knowledge. Give the satisfaction to find somenting. Each enigma match with the symbolisme of the moon phase, and each password is link to that meaning.

Did you use any third-party assets?
Dialogic plugging (if I understood correctly the question)

Generative AI disclosure
I don't. (Maybe translation I didn't finish yet but I'll use DeepL in priority

Unique way of connecting the game through different ones, even though I'd prefer a centralized experience, I get where the choice came from. Amazing art and dialogue, definitely inspiring <3

I did this game to make it accessible. The ''I prefer a centralised game'' is not a constructive  observation.

I get that part of my comment didn't provide much context and came off as a personal opinion. I stand by the compliments and wouldn't change a thing about how it is, since, again, I found it very unique and fun to play!

About accessibility, I get the jam made it harder to develop in detail due to the deadlines and learning things along the way can be hard, but I believe that same accessibility can be reached without changing your game at all. If I had to think about a different delivery, I'll think of like a 4 chapter menu, each can be unlocked by their password input without the need to play it on a sequential form. That way it won't matter if it erases progress by closing it/changing pages on mobile, just input password without playing all over again, unlocking that chapter and previous ones, and it feels more continuous overall.

That comment is meant only from an UX perspective. I genuinely like your game and the effort it required under the constraints of the jam. I'll definitely keep an eye for your future projects, best of luck!

It's true,  but I also thing you don't have the same feeling breaking the 4th wall like it. And the same suspens to travel to a different web page. So it's not the same gameplay. I'm more into the graphics style and the game play should be more chosen with more Coherence, maybe it's literally a computer and not a book ect...

Very creative project! I haven't seen someone else use restricted Itch pages as part of a puzzle. Considering there is some other 4th wall breaking by the Moon character it fits the style of the game.

The art is fantastic!

Thank you for including a French version, I used this opportunity to remember reading.

Good luck!

Absolutely loved the art of it.

It was pretty unique how it made use of searching for things online and the overall vibe of it was great!

Was not a big fan of it being separated into multiple different game pages. It would be a better experience if it was entirely done in the single game. It pulls you out of the experience momentarily.

Also the third part of the game being completely stuck in french was a bummer.

Thank you for playing the game ! I understand you frustration and I'm very sorry for the bug in the chapter 3. Did you try the 4 ? The last one is important for the story and the game experience and story. For the other point of your comment I answer all on this dev log don't hesitate to take some time to take a look at it. I hope it help to share why and how I made this game.

I gave the dev log post a read, and I see where you're coming from! Programming and making games is one of the hardest things there is to learn. Even more so when on a time limit! So you did come up with a working solution for the problem you had at hand. Big props on that!

However even though it was on purpose. I don't necessarily agree with the choice due to being added friction and taking you out of the otherwise polished experience.

Overall great work and good luck on your learning journey!

If you (or anyone else reading this) need help/advice I'm in the gamejam's discord so feel free to send a DM!
