Musician/Composer looking to collaborate with devs making experimental games

I make quite a bit of music with a lot of variety, however, i've been consuming a lot of media that strives to push the medium. Doesn't matter if that is art, music, game, etc. I find that a mindset that is shared between each other of art-first is necessary for this to come to fruition. That is to say, I am interested in doing this for the love of the game and prefer to make unique experiences over something that will make a lot of money or be very popular. Think games like Hylics, Growing my Grandpa!, Who's Lila?,  Cruelty Squad, etc.; probably unappealing to a general audience, but, if you get them and what they are trying to do, they will stick with you for a long time. Generally, these games have a very psychedelic/surreal quality to them that I really like, and I feel they lean towards style over substance, which, i'd argue style is/can be substance.

About what I can do: I am an experimental-focused artist who is looking to make experimental games. I tend to make rock-based music, electronic-based, and noise-based. I can make some fairly generic, pleasant music, but do not prefer it as of late. I can play guitar and bass irl and use them a lot in my music. Otherwise, I use synths, samples, field recordings, etc. I am not very good at writing traditional scores/orchestra. I do not have much experience with sound design but feel I could do it well if I tried. I also can help with writing and concepts as I have a lot of ideas and will gladly throw them out. I also dabble in digital art, more-so out of necessity for my music, but still, I can help if needed. I also generally know how to code; not enough to make a game, but I could help with testing if needed. I mostly would like to make music, though.

As of this post, I have been listening to a lot of James Ferraro lately if you'd like to know what is really inspiring me. David Lynch is probably the best artist of all time imo and I love his ethos surrounding art.

My itch profile has links to my stuff. I can send unreleased WIPs upon request, too. I've been working on a new batch of loops lately, have some fuller songs in the works after. Built a noise rig recently and would like to use it more soon as well.

I do not make art for money; I will gladly help out for free assuming the game is being released for free. If the game is to be released and is not free, I expect fair compensation for my time.

Hmu if this sounds interesting to you and lets cook  ๐Ÿค
