How does the game fit the theme?
An old man that trust's no one is in need of help. He won't let anyone onto his property no matter what you try to do. Will you be able to clean up his yard and house, and earn is trust in the process, or will he kick you out. Are you even worthy of his trust?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Several of the art assets we did not make, they came from Kenneys asset packs; the house, the fences (both tall and boards), the flowers and weeds (spike plant and leafy plant), and the background music and walking sfx. Everything else was made and coded from scratch for the jam. AI was not used to generate any code or art assets for this game

Oh my gosh, when I got the lawn mower! That was fantastic, so satisfying... 😊
It took me a bit to notice the progress bar at the bottom, but that was super handy, it'd just be nice to have a full checklist of the tasks in the corner or somewhere in order to know a bit more what to do.
Agree with the other comment that knowing how the old man worked and when he'd chase you was a bit confusing, he also seemed superfast at times, so I'd just instantly lose, I also didn't expect him to move beyond the fence, though I did appreciate the little shortcuts to weave back into the yard. It'd also be nice if it wasn't just instant lose too, maybe he just gives you more of a task to do or resets some progress?
At least while using the lawn mower I was expecting to have more driving controls where just Left/Right steers than compass directions, I'm wondering if that's why the other movement felt off too? Something was just a bit odd, but it was a bit hard to put a finger on.
It's really hard to both jam and learn a new engine, so impressive that you built all this together, good job!
Perfectly okay. Though I don't think this really stood out in any way. I am confused as to how the old man works, why does he sometimes follow you and sometimes not? And why does he stop occasionally?
Interesting take on the theme, first I've seen like this so far. It's reasonably enjoyable but at first I didn't know where I should go with the flowers and wood. I figured it out pretty quick. Also there are no foostep sounds only when I go south. Overall you made a working game with a nice concept. I had fun!
Hey, the controls outside of cutting grass and picking something up feel a bit janky. Also the goal for the things to pick up were never really addressed, so it felt kinda weird to pick things up. Cutting grass is fun though!
