Context: Basically me and a few of my friends are in a Game Research and Development club in our university and thought "Hey since we have a few juniors joining our club, for our first activity of this year why not have them do their first game jam!". And from that we chose the Brackey's Game Jam.
Over the course of the jam, our juniors teamed up and brainstormed ideas around the theme, and built their very first games from scratch! Well some for the first time using a Game Engine. It's been fire watching them go from "I don't know where to start" to actually shipping playable builds LOL.
So to celebrate their hard work (and give them some well-deserved exposure), we're sharing their submissions here! We'd love for you to try them out, see what our newest members came up with, and drop some feedback or encouragement their way, it means a lot when you're just starting out. 馃檹
Game Link:
ACED! (IMPOSSIBLE) -> This is a rage game LOL, well I won't say much but most of the interactions in there are uh.. Intentional XD.
One Last Mission -> A Document-Inspection & Resource-Management Narrative Sim, Inspired by Papers, Please & Psychological Hierarchy Models
Also there's some of the game made by the Seniors of the club! tho most of us are pretty busy so there's are parts that can be improved on 馃槄
Midnight Mall -> A little Self Insert haha, This is an Exploration and Anomaly Detection game made by me and my senior friends, (P.S. Its our first 3D game XD, please be gentle)
ALL MY CREWMATE ARE MORONS!! -> This game is similar to a task management sim where you are the only competent person on this spacecraft, and your crew is trying to kill you with their stupidity.
In Money We Trust -> This game is in an unfinished state because the senior joined a bit late but I want to mention it so it at least get recognized!
Thanks! Here's a picture of my cat as a lil' incentive to play our games!
